Fighting against Assad continues near Hama, 2 Assad tanks hit

Opposition fighters continue fighting against Assad terrorists and allied foreign militias on multiple fronts in Hama northern countryside, as the latter launched the fiercest military campaign with Russian air coverage.

Orient News correspondent Firas Karam said on Monday that opposition fighters destroyed an Assad military bulldozer on al-Boweiad village to the north of Taibet al-Imam in Hama northern countryside, while Assad fighter jets were launching heavy airstrikes on al-Latamneh city and the villages of Lahaya and Ma’arkbeh.

Meanwhile, Assad jets carried out intense airstrikes on the towns of Kafr Zeita, al-Latamneh cities and the villages of al-Massasna and al-Zallaqiyat. The highly explosive parachute bombs were used.

Assad terrorists and their supporting foreign militias controlled on Sunday al-Nasiriye Hill, a strategic hill north of Hama, that overlooks opposition fighters’ supply line in Helfaya city and its surroundings. This allowed Assad terrorists to occupy Helfaya city after opposition fighters had withdrawn from it.

An Assad tank was also destroyed and a second one was burned as opposition fighters targeted them with TOW missiles on al-Zallaqiyat front.

Assad terrorists also tried to advance towards the liberated areas, north of Hama, to wrest control over al-Zallaqiyat north of Mhardeh city. Fierce clashes broke out between opposition fighters and Assad terrorists there. Opposition fighter destroyed an Assad BMP vehicle, 2 tanks and seized another, forcing Assad terrorists to retreat to Shaliyout.
