Activists of al-Mazraa town in southern province of Sweida went to streets on Monday, commemorating the 71th anniversary of the Independence Day where the chants were demanding another Independence form the Assad family and All foreign forces in Syria.
The Evacuation Day is Syria's national day commemorating the evacuation of the last French soldier from Syria and the end of the French mandate of Syria on 17 April 1946.
Videos downloaded on social media showed tens of activists rising the Independence flag which the opposition flag and signs praising Syrian patriots who made the indepence day real, including Sultan Pasha al-Atrash the prominent Arab Druze leader and Syrian nationalist and Commander General of the Syrian Revolution.
Opposition activists of Sweida, the mainly Druze city, have also demanding an end for forced displacement and the release of detainees
