White House, itself, said Monday the Friday's cruise missile strikes in retaliation to Khan Sheikhoun chemical attack will not be a one-time punishment for the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.
Despite the Russian support, the Assad regime is expecting a U.N. investigation committee to check its military airbases, such an expectation pushed the air force officials to work secretly and inside the very close circle to hide the chemical weapons and to restrict the responsibility to the high-ranked Alawite officers.

The United States fired 59 cruise missiles at the air base on Friday from which it said a deadly chemical weapons attack had been launched last Tuesday and killed at least 103 people in Khan Sheikhoun town in Idlib province.
U.S. Navy Admiral Michelle Howard said the strikes had destroyed the means to deliver chemical weapons from that base, and the U.S. military remained ready to carry out further strikes if needed, Reuters reported.
