At least 15 civilians killed west of Aleppo in Assad missile attack




Assad terrorists fired Sunday (April 30) afternoon a surface-to-surface missile at a town in Aleppo western countryside.

At least 15 civilian were killed in the missile attack by Assad terrorists on Oweijel town in Aleppo western countryside, Orient News correspondent said, adding that the killed civilians included several children.

Civil defense volunteers headed to the hit area and started removing the rubble and lifting the bodies and the injured. A big number of civilians were reported trapped under the rubble, according to civil defense sources.

The missile attack left huge physical damage, photos published on Aleppo’s civil defense FB page showed.


Oweijel town is located about 18 km west of Aleppo. In October 2016, the town witnessed Russian bombardment on residential areas which killed at least 30 civilians, including civil defense volunteers, according to activists.
