Syrian activists on Saturday circulated footage on social media for a man was brutally tortured by an Islamist group in the Eastern Ghouta suburbs over claim he works for Jaish al-Islam.
Hassan Yahia from Saqba suburb said he had been tortured by militants affiliated to Faylaq al-Rahman and Tahrir al-Sham, main rival groups to the Islam Army in eastern Damascus.
Activists denounced the torture act by Faylaq al-Rahman's members, saying the involved fightera must be held to accountability.
One of the fighters had engraved his name on the Yahiya's back, using a knife.
