At least 8 civilians have been killed in suspected Russia air strikes on eastern Deir Ezzor province, local activists said Wednesday.
The strike hit a van in al-Quriya village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The Syrian Kurds, Iraqi militias and the regime forces backed by Russia and US-led airstrikes have stepped up attacks on ISIS-held areas in eastern Syria that left dozens of people killed and wounded in the last few weeks.
