Young volunteer Mohammed Deeb Abu Kifah was killed by silencer attack Saturday on several Syrian Civil Defense (SCD) Center in Sarmin in Idlib countryside.
The attack was carried out by an unknown armed group infiltrated the Civil Defense Center in Sarmin, killing seven elements with silencers. In addition, the group stole two van vehicles and other equipment. one of the two cars burned was found in agricultural bush between Sarmin and Binnish.
Abu Kifah appeared in a moving video carrying the little girl Wahidah Maatouq who was barely a month old after He managed to rescue her from the rubble of her destroyed home by bombings months ago.
He appeared to shed tears in a moving footage that influenced social networking pages and Arab and foreign media.
Activist Mohamed Mustafa Fadel told Ammar Johmani that the young volunteer named Mohammed Ibrahim al-Hir, born in Sarmin in 1992, joined the White Helmets at the beginning of 2015.
He added that he was injured more than once during his work as a volunteer in the civil defense, noting that Abu Kifah formed with him a relief team called "Nour city volunteer" to help the displaced from Daraya, Muadmiya and other areas and the poor in Sarmin.
Fadel pointed out that the young man always went out to rescue when there was a bombing or fire, adding that he did not stay in the center with those who remained there.
He revealed that Abu Kifah had a brother, Omar, also a volunteer in the (SCD). He was injured during the targeting of Sarmin on October 20, 2015. His head injury was slightly serious, but "thanks to God he recovered and returned to work."
