Head of agency Ayn al-Watan (Eye on The homeland) Ahmed Abdul Qadir confirmed Turkish police arrested Muath Hussein, one of the accused of the assassination of two Syrian media activists in Urfa, south of Turkey in 2016.
He said in a statement to Ammar Johmani on Tuesday that the arrest of the accused Hussein was about a month ago, noting that it was left secret until they completed investigations.
Abdul Qadir revealed that Muath is one of two people known to have been involved in the crime of media activists Ibrahim Abdul Qadir and Fares Hammadi from Raqqa.

Abdul Qadir, the brother of one of the victims of the assassination (Ibrahim) added to Ammar Johmani that the Turkish security forces by investigating the case identified some of the partners of Tlas in the crime, which involved about 8 people, one of them Muath was arrested Tuesday by Turkish authorities.
He pointed out that the investigation into the case is in its final stages, and will reveal the names of those involved and even some of those who hid under the threat .
