By Ethat Abdul Haq
(Zaman
Al Wasl)- At least 16 Sunni civilians killed on Monday by pro-regime
militia in the Alawites dominated village of al-Hawat in Hama province,
in retaliation to killing of pro-regime militant.
The victims
were from al-Nuayim and al-Hadidin tribes which include senior regime
officials like regime Defense Minister General Fahd Jassim Al-Fureij and
the commander of the artillery and missile Major General Juma
al-Jassim.
The
information collected by Zaman al-Wasl overlapped when an attack was
carried out by regime thugs from Asyla on their neighbours in al-Hawat
on after the killing of Haidar Mahmoud Merhej called Abu Suleiman,
notorious militant, was shot dead and his body was found at the
al-Hawat intersection. Al-Hawat is a very small village subordinate to
Maharda area.
After
the killing of Merhej, thugs launched a raid on al-Hawat vilalge and
targeted the house of Hazza Hadidi called Abu Safok and they killed 9
people from his family alone, including 3 children and two women, and
killed 6 from Jawid family after raiding their house.
Zaman
al-Wasl received horrifying images of some of the victims of the
massacre, showing their flesh tearing both shockingly and astonishingly,
and questioning the quality of weapons used by the thugs in the attack.
According
to private sources of our newspaper, Merhej one of the thugs who rob
people’s property raised by the regime corruption in the areas of the
Sunnah as their blood and money of can be assaulted. Merhej killing
drove his comrades crazy and so they went and raided houses in al-Hawat
towards Abu Safok house who did not have weapons to defend himself.. The
sectarian mercenaries killed the men in the household and then they
targeted women and children and killed what they could, according to a
survivor of the massacre.
It
is noteworthy that the main pro-regime pages recognized the massacre,
but under the name of "civil quarrel" between Asyla and the fugitives,
saying that 11 people fell into the "quarrel" without mentioning their
backgrounds, or clarify that the victims all of one side and one color,
and that the criminals of a different sectarian color , without even
paying attention to a victim of the Alawite sect killed by members of
his own community during the massacre.
Our
sources filmed a clip documenting the moments of the funeral of 9
victims of the Hadidin tribe who were buried in their hometown of Tal
Halawa, while 6 civilians from al-Nayim tribe were buried in al-Hawat.
Tal
Halawa received 7 coffins, two of which covered two women and a child.
One of the coffins included the child Hazza Ibn Shehadeh with his father
Shehadeh (the child is Hazza, the victim with the cracked flesh)
Shockingly, Zaman al-Wasl has covered the images for their extreme
cruelty.
Our
sources confirmed that Haider Merhej is considered one of the most
despicable of the regime in the region, in favor of looting. This has
been practiced in the villages and cities of Hama, especially Halfaya.
The
sources revealed that the village al-Hawat inhabited by a large Alwai
majority, and that several nomadic families live in 3 houses out of
about 20 houses in this small village.
It
was reported that Merhej was killed on the Marzaf road, but someone
threw his body near al-Hawat for a certain reason. The reason was clear
after thugs deliberately attacked only Sunni houses. When an Alawite
tried to protect the neighborhood and defend the Abu Safok family which
have been living in the village for decades, a thug killed his fellow
Alwaite so as not to stand in the face of their crime
The sources said that the Alwaite victim’s name is Musab Mohammed and nicknamed Abu Kadhim and was a resident of al-Hawat.
Zaman
al-Wasl informs the crime of al-Hawat to attrack attention of all the
human rights organizations in the world and is ready to provide them
with all the details surrounding the massacre.
