Damascus, SANA- 143 new coronavirus infections, 94 recoveries and 5 deaths were reported in Syria on Tuesday, according to the Health Ministry.
A statement issued by the Ministry showed that the total number of infections registered in the country has reached up to 46,564 of which 27,867 have recovered, while 2,677 have passed away.
The first coronavirus infection was detected in the country on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, meanwhile the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month.
