Damascus, SANA- Education Minister, Darem Tabbaa discussed with Head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation, Admiral Alek Vladimirovich Zhuravlov and the accompanying delegation, prospects of future cooperation and means of bolstering it between Syria and Russia, particularly in the educational field.
During the meeting, Tabbaa indicated that there are 30 thousand students who are learning the Russian language, as virtual rooms were opened to teach it in cooperation with the Russian side.
The Minister stressed the importance of enhancing Syrian-Russian relations in various domains.
Admiral Zhuravlov, in turn, pointed out that the center offered literary references to the schools and universities via the Russian Knowledge Authority, in addition, it offered support to the educational process in Syria, through distributing stationery and school supplies.
