Havana, SANA- Syria and Cuba discussed prospects of bolstering cooperation in various fields, particularly in higher education.
That came during a meeting between Minister of Finance Kenan Yaghi and Cuban Minister of Higher Education, Walter Baloja Garcia.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of G77-China Summit held in Havana.
Yaghi stressed the Syrian government’s willingness to strengthen and upgrade the bilateral relations between both countries in all fields, specifically scientific one, universities, scientific research institutes, and mutual scholarships.
In turn, Garcia welcomed the Syrian delegation participation in the summit, wishing prosperity and recovery for Syria.
He underlined the importance of this meeting to discuss enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
