Pyongyang, SANA- Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned of the danger of turning Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip into a regional war.
Sputnik Agency quoted Lavrov as saying in a press statement in Pyongyang that his country is ready to discuss any constructive proposals based on achieving ceasefire and preventing the escalation of the situation in the region.
He added “We call for any approach based on balancing the interests of parties, not imposing the interests of anyone at the expense of the interests of others.”
Lavrov affirmed that the attempts by (Israel) and Western countries to hold Iran responsible for everything that is taking place in the region represent a provocative act.
