Damascus, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday received a cable of condolence from his Iraqi counterpart Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on the martyrs in the terrorist attack with drones that took place last Thursday during a graduation ceremony of the Military Academy’s cadets in Homs.
“We receive with great regret the news of the attack that left many innocent victims, and on behalf of the Iraqi people and on my own behalf, we strongly condemn and denounce this cowardly terrorist act that contradicts all human values and the heavenly teachings”, the Iraqi President said.
He expressed his sincere condolences to the brotherly Syrian people and to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
