Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- The temporary truce agreement in Gaza Strip entered into force at 7:00 a.m. local time Friday, after 48 days of ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 15,000 Palestinians, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, in addition to more than 36,000 injured.
The temporary truce agreement will last for four days, subject to extension, including the release of a number of Palestinian detainees including women and children by the Israeli occupation in exchange for Israeli prisoners by the Palestinian resistance, and the entry of relief and medical aid and quantities of fuel into Gaza Strip.
In the last hours before the temporary truce enters into force, the Israeli occupation launched intense raids on the northern, central and southern Gaza Strip, targeting schools housing displaced persons, hospitals and houses, resulting in tens of martyrs and wounded.
During the days of the truce, Palestinian ambulance and rescue crews will attempt to pull the bodies of the martyrs out from under the rubble, as the number of missing people is estimated at about 7,000, including more than 4,700 children and women, which will reveal more atrocities committed by Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip over 48 days.
