Gaza, SANA – A number of civilians were killed and others injured this evening in the ongoing brutal Israeli bombardment of various parts of the war-torn Gaza Strip, according to WAFA news agency.
The agency quoted sources as saying that a number of civilians were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting the house of the Qedreh family in the town of Qarrara, north of Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to eyewitnesses, scores of people were inside the house when it was bombed. Paramedics managed to evacuate a number of wounded, some in critical condition. Rescue teams are still searching under the rubble for survivors or martyrs.
In the north of the Strip, medical sources reported that several people were killed and wounded in an Israeli strike targeting the home of the al-Kahlout family in the At-Tawba area.
Sources said that the number of people killed in the Israeli air raid on a house in the Jabalia refugee camp has so far risen to 19.
In the central strip, Israeli warplanes bombed the al-Salam Mosque in the al-Sabra neighborhood in western Gaza, bringing the number of mosques targeted by Israeli bombardment since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Strip to over 60.
