Geneva, SANA- The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza Strip for humanitarian reasons, underlining the importance of protecting hospitals and children there.
In an appeal, the UNICEF underscored the need to provide humanitarian aid unconditionally for children and families in need, save lives, and prevent further suffering.
Earlier this month, the UNICEF stated that Gaza had become a cemetery for thousands of Palestinian children, due to the continued Israeli aggression against the Strip.
