Damascus, SANA- An art exhibition entitled Peace for the Land of Peace was opened on Thursday evening in a gallery at the Syrian capital, Damascus in support of the Palestinian issue.
The exhibition included 28 paintings of different volumes by Syrian and Arab artists who addressed the Palestinian issue with their own visions.
“The Palestinian issue was and remains the central Arab issue” , Lubana Mshaweh, Minister of Culture, said.
The Minister added that although we are in pain as a result of the aggression against Gaza, Arab plastic art was able to monitor the struggle of the Palestinian people to liberate their land from the occupier over decades.
