Damascus, SANA-the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, discussed with the Chargé d’Affairs in the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Damascus, Yassin Sharif Al Hujaimi, and the accompanying delegation, relations of joint cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research.
Minister Ibrahim stressed the importance of bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels, as well as the joint scientific agreements signed between the two sides with the aim of exchanging students and scholarships, pointing to the necessity of exchanging visits, holding scientific seminars and conferences, and exchanging experiences and joint scientific research.
For his part, Al Hujaimi stressed his country’s keenness to develop relations with Syria and provide more cooperation in all fields, especially in the scientific and research field, pointing to the importance of education in Syria.
