Tehran, SANA- Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy had seized on Saturday, the Israeli-linked MSC ARIES a cargo ship near the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, the vessel involved was the Portuguese-flagged MSC Aries, a container ship associated with London-based Zodiac Maritime. Zodiac Maritime is part of Israeli billionaire Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Group.
IRNA reported that the ship was captured by helicopters and personnel were evacuated from its surface and towed to Iranian territorial waters.
