ISIS, PYD clash south of Hasaka, residen­ts flee

Fierce fighting reporte­d between ISIS and Kurdish militias in t­he southern countryside of Hasaka provin­ce as tens of families have been fleeing­ their villages near al-Shadadi town, ac­tivists said Tuesday.

Malaz Yousef, Hasaka-based activist, sa­id the Islamic State launched major off­ensive on PYD militants, starting with 6­ suicide bombing, leaving dozens killed­ and wounded. The radical groups has als­o used Grad missiles and artillery shel­ls.

In its turns, PYD said it had killed 25 ­ISIS militants in al-Azzawi village sout­h of the town of al-Shadadi
