At least 12 people from the same family were killed when U.S.-led warplanes struck a border village with Iraq in Hasaka province, activists said Wednesday.
The strikes hit Tel al-Shayer area in the southern countryside of Hasaka amid claims that the Washington strikes were in support of Iraqi militias who edged into the Islamic State strongholds at border.
The death toll from the Coalition strieks reach a total of 500 people in hte last 6 weeks , accoridng to local monitoring groups. Most victims were family memebrs.
