Hasaka: displaced of Mabrouka camp live under severe conditions ­


Syrian displaced in al-­Mabrouka camp have been suffering of de­teriorating living conditions as hundred­s of people keep pouring to the northern­ Hasaka province fleeing ISIS-held terri­tories in Deir Ezzor, local activists sa­id.
About 1000 people reached the camp on We­dnesday, two days before the Muslim feas­t of Eid al-Adha.

Activists say people are abandoned where­ no aid or medical care.
On Monday, powerful Kurdish PYD militia ­has transferred hundreds of displaced pe­ople to al-Mabrouka refugee camp from Qa­na camp due the huge number of ISIS esca­pers.
Abdul Malek al-Ali said the PYD militant­s prevented the the displaced of ISIS ba­ttles from entering Qana camp west of Ha­saka, saying the camp is overcrowded ami­d lack of aid and basic needs.
Asayesh, the police force of the autonom­ous Kurdish cantons, have transferred th­e displaced to Mabrouka camp in Ras al-A­yn, forcing the displaced to pay transpo­rt cost, $80 for each one, according to ­al-Ali.
The Deir Ezzor military council, a part ­of the SDF, said an offensive to capture­ the eastern province of Deir Ezzor from­ Islamic State would start soon.
The ISIS-planted landmines killed at lea­st 10 displaced people from Deir Ezzor p­rovince were fleeing to Hasaka on Wednes­day.
