Syrian displaced in al-Mabrouka camp have been suffering of deteriorating living conditions as hundreds of people keep pouring to the northern Hasaka province fleeing ISIS-held territories in Deir Ezzor, local activists said.
About 1000 people reached the camp on Wednesday, two days before the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha.
Activists say people are abandoned where no aid or medical care.
On Monday, powerful Kurdish PYD militia has transferred hundreds of displaced people to al-Mabrouka refugee camp from Qana camp due the huge number of ISIS escapers.
Abdul Malek al-Ali said the PYD militants prevented the the displaced of ISIS battles from entering Qana camp west of Hasaka, saying the camp is overcrowded amid lack of aid and basic needs.
Asayesh, the police force of the autonomous Kurdish cantons, have transferred the displaced to Mabrouka camp in Ras al-Ayn, forcing the displaced to pay transport cost, $80 for each one, according to al-Ali.
The Deir Ezzor military council, a part of the SDF, said an offensive to capture the eastern province of Deir Ezzor from Islamic State would start soon.
The ISIS-planted landmines killed at least 10 displaced people from Deir Ezzor province were fleeing to Hasaka on Wednesday.
