Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister Faysal Mikdad received on Tuesday the credentials of charge d’ affaires of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Damascus, Ibrahim Yunusa Muhammad.
Mikdad welcomed the charge d’ affaires of Nigeria , wishing him success in performing his duties.
He affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to provide the new charge d’ affaires with the necessary facilities and support to facilitate his work in Syria and his mission to enhance relations between Syria and Nigeria in political, culture and economy fields.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed the two countries’ joint stances on the war against terrorism, which threats the security and stability in the Middle East and Africa
For his part, the new Chargé d affairs pointed out to the deep relations with Syria, promising to work on enhancing and developing friendly relations between the two countries and coordinating in all common fields.
