Damascus, SANA- 40 new Covid-19 cases, 230 recoveries and 3 fatalities were detected in Syria on Friday, Health Ministry said.
The total number of infections registered in the country till now has reached up to 50,902 of which 35,698 have recovered, while 2,962 have passed away, according to a statement by the ministry.
On March 22nd 2020, the first coronavirus case was reported in Syria, while the first fatality was detected on the 29th of the same month.
