Damascus, SANA- On the occasion of International Children’s Day and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Institute of Social Education for Girls, in cooperation with the Syrian Society for Social Development, held an entertainment event entitled “The Butterfly Effect…It Doesn’t Go Away,” in the Institute’s building in Damascus.
The event included an exhibition of girls’ handicrafts, choral theater, dances, a poem recitation, and awareness lectures on a number of issues related to early marriage and violence against girls.
