Damascus, SANA- Means to enhance cooperation between the University of Bilad Al-Sham for Sharia Sciences and the Russian Pyatigorsk State University (SPU) were discussed Monday.
That came during a meeting that brought together Minister of Awqaf (Islamic Endowments), Dr. Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed and Professor Ibrahim Ibrahimov, Vice President of the Russian Pyatigorsk State University.
The two sides underlined the importance of cooperation between the two universities to enhance moral values, consolidate family traditions, and the role of universities in preserving society, as well as the role of universities in preserving society and facing the challenges imposed by the Western cultural invasion which aims to spread immoral behaviors.
It is noteworthy that Professor Ibrahimov gives lectures in Arabic at the Syrian universities on strengthening spiritual and moral values in Russia through consolidating family traditions and their role in preserving society.
